Fiber optics has been made-up from resources that transmit light and are fabricated from a collection of very thin glass or plastic fibers enclosed within a tube. Fiber optics has an extreme transparent glass core, or plastic surrounded by a casing called cladding. Source of light at one end and the camera lens, at the other end which is a used to direct light and descriptions around the bends and corners. Light is provoked through a basis on one end of the fiber optic and as the light travels all the way through the tube, the cladding is there to maintain it all in the interior. Fiber optic light source can transmit light over heap distances, ranging to longer distances from few meters to 100 miles. A bundle of fiber optics could be twisted or perverted with no distorting the picture, as the cladding is intended to reflect these lighting images from inside the surface. There are 2 different kinds of fiber optics. The single-mode fiber optic is used for high pace and extended distance transmissions because they have tremendously small cores and they recognize light only all along the axis of the fibers. Small lasers transmit light straight into the fiber optic where there are less-loss connectors used to link the fibers inside the system without significantly corrupting the light signal.

The Digital visual interface DVI is used in connecting the system requirements. What is the main function of this tiny white port on a video card? How it can benefit you and your personal computer? Digital Video Interface is created by Digital Display Working Group to solve the problem of lodging analog and digital interfaces just by using single connector. It was developed because of deficiency of consistency in digital interfacing. Three types of standards can be seen in DVI cables. It is very important to know how each type looks like before buying to upgrade your DVI. So it is very important to know how DVI cable works and which one will be most beneficial for you. However, DVI cables are still in the phase of development. Hence there is no specific standard for the DVI cable. In ideal circumstances, DVI home theater cable is capable to create ‘ digital to digital’ connection between the data or video sources and home theater projectors. The standard rule for DVI cables is that it should have maximum length of 5 m for trouble free operation. It is very typical to decide a DVI cable first time.

There are two types of DVI connector and each has its own characteristics. The flat pin denotes whether the cable is analog or digital. A flat pin with four surrounding pins denotes either DVI-A or DVI-1. A single flat pin denotes DVI-D. The pin sets depends upon whether the cable is single link or dual link or analog.

There is a cheap but very effective device called an 18% grey card that can limit your frustration if used correctly, this is done when you are still unsure about getting the correct exposure. When light falls upon a certain object; if the object is too dark your camera or meter will automatically give you an over-exposed reading. This also happens when we take a reading from something that is too
bright – the meter gives us an under-exposed reading.

We need to find a mid-tone object for our meters to read the proper exposure.Sometimes if we are taking pictures in a high contract scene a mid-tone object is impossible to find. 18 % grey is the mid-tone between pure white and pure black. An 18% grey card will record the exact light that will touch any object. Start by placing the grey card where you are going to take your reading, point your camera or light meter at the grey card – your meter should read the exact light that falls upon the card.

These cards can be used for all types of photography. All light-meters are calibrated to produce an exposure of 18% The grey card reflects the exact same reading. This card is cheap, and most decent camera stores should sell them. The 18% grey card should become an important part of your equipment. If you shoot with digital or film cameras, and whether you use black and white or colour film then the grey card can be used.

Neil Jordan’s The Brave One tries with every bit of skill and talent it’s got to bring more complexity to the themes of vigilance and revenge following in the footsteps of the Death Wish movies and this year’s earlier Death Sentence.Instead of merely attempting to make the viewers complicit in the enjoyment of watching the wronged protagonists stepping outside the legal system and taking matters into their own hands, it uses a great actress like Jodie Foster to see the conflicted emotions such actions can yield. Ultimately, however, even this story loses its worth as it cowers from examining the real social consequences involved.

Wireless trustworthiness, or Wi-Fi, is an astonishing technology that allows you to set of connections your computers, office, home and so on. With no necessitate for wires. This makes networking so much easier and less messy because wires are not used. The computers basically attach to the network via radio signals. Because of this progressiveness, many businesses, restaurants, schools, cafes, malls, stores, airports and other businesses have set up wireless sizzling spots that allow any person to keep a record of onto the network. Hot spots are relatively new, but are growing in acceptance and popularity because of the incredible access it gives to students, travelers, business people and the like. Some hot spots are free, while others charge an hourly rate. This is remarkable for individuals that need to be able to work from any location; however there are some disadvantages because hot spots can be used by not permitted users if not sufficiently secluded through dissimilar security safeguards. The router allows the Internet signal to be routed all the way through the home and the wireless cards that each computer has picks up the signal which eliminates the use of wires. Because of this evolution, individuals are able to work and study wherever they are, which makes traveling and working much easier and less downtime which is very important.

First appearing in the 1987 movie under the same name, the titular character is a crime fighting cyborg. Originally a sincere and devout police officer, Alex Murphy was slaughtered beyond recognition during a raid on a crime gang. He was shot repeatedly with shotguns and was executed by a gun shot to his head. After his funeral, whatever remains of his brain and his face is removed from his corpse and is used by the corporation, Omni Consumer Products to create a law enforcing, part man, part machine to take care of the violent crimes prevalent in the city of Detroit. The reason why Murphy was selected for the Robocop Program was that he was fiercely sincere to his duty and that he had a top psychological positive profile while compared to many of his fellow police officers. He was able to survive and adapt to his new state of existence due to the above reasons and also due to the fact he rejected suicide being an Irish Catholic. His body is largely mechanical and electronic. His armored body is composed of some sort of Titanium bond Kevlar which makes him resilient to bullets and bombs. He can even survive falls from large heights with such powerful armor. He also has a thermal vision mode and a zooming capacity for accurate aiming and tracking. He has 4 directives which he has to follow. All the directives are pre programmed. The directives make sure that he follows the law as an police officer. However the 4th directive is a classified one and Robocop is unaware of it until the situation corresponding to the directive takes place. The directive makes sure that he does not take action against any OCP executive. This part played an important role in the first movie. His signature weapon is the Auto-9 – a 9mm Handgun stored in a mechanical holster in his leg. Despite being largely machine, Robocop retains memories of his past life as Alex Murphy and even considers himself still human, refering his name to others as Murphy. The cyborg later on appeared in two movie sequels (1990 and 1993 respectively), an animated series, television series and even in comic books ever to ‘Serve the Justice’, to ‘Protect the Innocent’ and to ‘Uphold the Law’.

This is one of the most popular science fiction weapons ever created. Indeed in a survey conducted in 2008 among some two thousand film fans it was found to be the most popular film weapon. Whenever you think of the Star Wars saga one of the very first things that comes to your mind besides the cute droid R2-D2, the menacing Darth Vader, the Imperial battleships and the formidable Chewbacca, is the lightsaber. An energy sword with a lightblade of one metre, this lightsaber can easily cut through flesh and destroy machine parts. It can also deflect blaster bolts as seen in the various Star Wars movies. However it can be blocked by another lightsaber and energy fields. All the Star Wars movie from “The Phantom Menace” (Start of the prequel trilogy being released in 1999) to the post trilogy movies with the final being “The Return of the Jedi”(1983) have featured a lightsaber duel between the good Jedi Knights and the evil Sith lords. It is the signature weapon of both the Jedis and the Siths. Each lightblade produced by the lightsaber has a distinct colour. Usually blue is the typical colour of the Jedis while red is the signature lightblade colour of the Siths.Whenever activated the lightsabers produce a distinct hum and this sound increases in pitch whenever the sword is swerved in action. Luke Skywalker, Obi- Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader are some of the famous lightsaber wielders from the Star Wars saga. Bet you wanna own a lightsaber dont you??????????

Thinking of a shark especially the Great White Shark is enough to terrify you. If you think that the Great White was the largest and ferocious fish that ever existed you are in for a mistake. That position is held by Megalodon, the largest shark that ever existed on Earth. It is an extinct super predator with giant teeth as suggested by its name ( Megalodon in Greek means “Big Tooth”).This monster lived some 25 to 1.5 million years ago in the past. To increase its terrifying presence even further, a fully grown man can sit easily in its reconstructed, open mouthed, formidable fossil jaws. This shark had a length of upto 17 metres and if believed, grew even upto 20 metres making the Great White and even the Whale Shark which is currently the largest shark, puny in size compared to it. With such formidable jaws this beast had a massive bite force of 182,000 newtons which is five times more powerful than even Tyrannosaurus Rex. Armed with deadly teeth, powerful jaws, huge fins and a massive body this fish was undoubtedly the undisputed carnivorous king at its time in the oceans. However for all its advantages this monster went extinct when it was reigning supreme in the same way as the might dinosaurs. Some theories say that Climate cooling and Ice ages were one of the importnat reasons for the demise of the King of Sharks as Megalodon prefered warmer waters of the oceans. Another theory is that its food supply mainly consisting of some species of whales became extinct during the Pliocene period. Cannibalism during food shortage could have also contributed to its untimely demise. Also there is some hypothesis that some of these beasts did survive the extinction and still do exist in the deep, unknown waters of the oceans. If such is the case, then someday we can have a chance to view the most powerful shark that ever existed
